People of Love
When people pressed Jesus for his teaching on the greatest commandment, he said that you should love God with all of your heart, soul, and mind. Moreover, you should love your neighbor as yourself. This was Jesus’ summation of the whole Old Testament teaching—that God’s people would be a people of love. This is only possible when we recognize the love we have already received from God. There is no greater joy than being the beloved of God.
