Flourish in the Fire: Submission & Admission (1 Peter 2:13-25)
Submission can feel odd in a Western, egalitarian culture, but Scripture holds it as a high value. It is for the sake of God that we cooperate with the authority above us, and in doing so, we silence wrong opinions. This model is found in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who suffered unjustly that we might be saved. We, too, should do good even if it means we may suffer.
