The Beatitudes are about the kind of people that God wants to use to bring about His kingdom, but it’s hard to believe that Jesus will keep His promises to fill us, bless us, and comfort us. Our minds believe the lie of scarcity. But Jesus lived with the kind of trust that looks at 5,000 people, five loaves, and three fish and thinks, “Looks about right!” We can operate out of this same abundace.
